The Challenge
When one of Sarah’s cuspid teeth remained impacted, it caused major problems and affected her upper smile. Two affected teeth had required removal, leaving an unsightly defect. The challenge was to replace the missing teeth and restore a natural smile.
The Solution
An extreme esthetic challenge is presented when multiple adjacent front teeth are missing. To avoid cutting down Sarah’s remaining natural teeth for a bridge, a single dental implant was placed. Two ceramic crowns constructed of tissue colored pressed-composite were attached to the single implant, providing a hygienic and attractive result, which made Sarah ecstatic! |
